PERFECTLY PRINTED!!!

I'll be the first one to admit, I'm a sucker for bright, bold prints. I am a firm believer that prints are a great way to spice up any outfit and express your personal style. This year's print trend is one of my absolute favorites. I've seen all kinds of prints all over this year. Anything from tribal to graphic and of course we can't forget about the resurgence of the stripe. Stripes are everywhere!!! Designers such as Micael Kors, Marc Jacobs, and Oscar de la Renta are all showing stripes on their runways this year. But where can you find stripes and other prints if you're like me and only dream about buying designer clothes? Good news is most major retailers haven't missed out on this trend. Stores like Forever21 and Target have a great selection of prints on a budget. Online retailers have caught on the the trend as well. ModCloth has a ton of cute pieces featuring stripes. Minty Fresh

SPRING IS HERE!!!

So as everyone knows, Emerald has been named Pantone's color of the year. But, it's playful, light-hearted cousin is also making a big statement in fashion this spring. That's right, I'm talking about Mint Green. After making a huge debute last spring, it seems mint is remaining a popular choice for major retailers this year. It has been seen EVERYWHERE, everything from apparel and accessories, to home decor amd beauty, Mint is making a splash. Some of my favorite pieces so far are a Layered Maxi Dress from Forever21. I just got it in the mail yesterday and I'm in love!!! The Double Duchess Mint Green Lace Dress available at Lulus.com ($46) is a more formal way to wear mint and the black lace detail gives it a little edge. Lastly, the Michael Antonio Love Me Pat Patent Pump from DSW.com ($39.95). It is a classic, elegant pump in a not so classic color.
